Xpanner launches XBoost program for solar industry growth
January 24, 2025

Xpanner, a rapidly growing company specializing in automation and robotics solutions for the construction industry, has announced the launch of its XBoost Partnership Program, aimed at increasing visibility and collaboration within the solar industry.

“We are very excited to launch the Xpanner XBoost Partnership Program to deepen our engagement with solar energy companies that share our commitment to renewable and sustainable energy,” said Henri Lee, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Xpanner.

The program is designed to enhance technological innovation and empower companies to achieve greater growth by integrating automation solutions.

“By combining Xpanner’s automation solutions with the expertise of solar energy contractors, we aim to drive the industry forward through innovation and new approaches,” said Henri Lee. “XBoost will be key to helping make this happen.”

The initiative encourages collaboration between Xpanner and its partners, with the goal of maximizing brand exposure for solar farms and construction EPCs (engineering, procurement, and construction companies). The program also highlights Xpanner’s automated pile-driving solutions, ensuring the success of solar farm projects while leveraging partner expertise.

In 2022, Xpanner developed a similar initiative in Korea, called the “Xpanner Partners Operator” program, to support owner-operators. This program helped address a common challenge where subcontractors struggled to find reliable partners.

Xpanner assisted owner-operators by providing essential branding tools, including business cards, landing pages, and endorsements.

This initiative significantly increased visibility for owner-operators, making it easier for them to secure projects. Subcontractors also benefited from having better access to information on the operators’ projects and capabilities.

Since entering the US market in late 2023, Xpanner has quickly gained momentum, following successes in Australia, Korea, and Saudi Arabia. The company’s Technology as a Service (TaaS) model helps streamline construction processes through automation and robotics.

Xpanner has supported solar farm projects in Alabama, Missouri, and Texas in 2024, with plans for new projects in Arizona, California, and Colorado in 2025.

The company was recognized on BuiltWorld’s Robotics Top 50 list for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024) and won the 2023 BuiltWorld’s Construction Technology Conference Demo Day competition in Chicago.

Xpanner’s technology integrates seamlessly with existing machinery, improving efficiency and giving supervisors better control over construction sites.

Lee concluded, “Xpanner’s mission is to ensure that beneficial technologies are not only innovative but also practical and usable on construction sites.”

The XBoost Partnership Program aims to address challenges in the solar industry, such as the skilled labor shortage, by enhancing worker productivity and efficiency.
